They had 10 children. The senior Wagoners, William John & Sarah, along with some of their children and a number of other families left Michigan in 1869 and settled in Butler County, Nebraska. They were original settlers in what is now Bellwood, Nebraska, and both are buried there in the Bellwood Cemetery.
